SMS Messaging Terms

1. Program Description

FEM Trucking ("FEM Trucking," "we," "our," or "us") operates a transactional SMS messaging program for customers with an active hauling or trucking service request. We send service-related text messages to the mobile number you provide. Message types include:

  • Work authorization requests that ask you to review and approve a job
  • Confirmation that your authorization or approval has been recorded
  • Job scheduling, dispatch, and driver ETA updates
  • In-progress job status updates
  • Job completion and invoice notifications

These messages are transactional and non-promotional. We do not send marketing or advertising text messages through this program.

2. How You Opt In (Consent)

You provide consent to receive SMS messages from FEM Trucking by phone, before any message is ever sent. This is the only way to opt in to our messaging program:

  • Verbal consent by phone. When you call our dispatcher to request hauling service and provide your mobile number, the dispatcher reads you the disclosure below, verbatim, and records your verbal consent. No SMS is sent to your number until this consent has been given and logged. Each opt-in is recorded in our dispatch system with your mobile number, the date and time, and the disclosure version.

There is no website sign-up list and no text-to-join keyword. We never use purchased, shared, or third-party lists — consent applies only to FEM Trucking's own messaging program and is never shared with or transferred to anyone else.

Opt-in disclosure

How we re-confirm your consent

By approving this job you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from FEM Trucking about this haul — dispatch updates, job status, and completion notifications. Message frequency: 3–5 msgs per job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of service.

✓ Approve Work

Above: the SMS-consent re-confirmation shown on every FEM Trucking job-approval page. This is not a separate opt-in — it appears only after you have already provided verbal consent by phone, and serves as an additional written audit record of that consent. The box is unchecked by default — the customer must actively check it and type their name to proceed. Each re-confirmation is stored with the customer's mobile number and a date/time stamp alongside the original phone opt-in record. Opt-in records are available on request.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. We only message numbers tied to an active, customer-initiated service request.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your job activity — typically 3–5 messages per active job. You may receive messages when a work authorization is sent, when your approval is recorded, when your job is dispatched or updated, and when the job is completed.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier apply to all SMS messages sent to or from FEM Trucking. FEM Trucking does not charge for the messages themselves.

5. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from FEM Trucking. After you send STOP, we will send you one confirmation message and then no further messages will be sent. You may also reply OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, or STOPALL. To resubscribe, reply START at any time.

7. Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information or phone number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. For full details on how we collect and use your information, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Carrier Liability

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
